We apply yellow Teflon tape to the Quick Connects, propane regulators, and propane tanks that utilize the Quick Connect (except the propane tanks that are used with the Patio Heaters). The Teflon tape is wrapped over the threads of the Quick Connect and prevents propane leakage. If for any reason the Teflon tape must be removed, it must be re-applied to the threads to prevent leakage.
