Revising Delivery/Pickup, Address, etc. After Event is Submitted

Learn how to efficiently update delivery/pickup details and addresses post event submission for a smoother event planning process.

An event can be edited online any time up until 2 business days prior to the delivery date. To edit your event, you must be logged into your account. 

How to Access an Event for Editing

You can open an event for editing in one of two ways:

Option 1: From My Account

  • Go to the My Account section.
  • Click the vertical ellipsis (⋮) next to the event you want to update.
  • Select Modify/Update.

Option 2: From Upcoming Events

  • Locate your event in the Upcoming Events section.
  • Click the black opposing arrows in the Event Date column.
  • Select Modify/Update.

After clicking Modify/Update, you’ll be returned to the guided checkout process. From here, you can select any tab at the top of the page to edit products, dates, addresses, and other event details.

If you only need to update dates or addresses, use the tabs below:

Event Overview Tab

Use this tab to:

  • Change the delivery and pickup address
  • Adjust the event date and guest arrival time
  • Add site-specific details, including: Accessibility information, Stair access, Walking distance from delivery location to offload area

Delivery / Pickup Tab

Use this tab to:

  • Add delivery and pickup instructions
    Visible only to the driver during delivery and/or pickup
  • Upload attachments such as a floor plan
    Visible only to the delivery team
  • Update the onsite contact for delivery and pickup

How to Edit Delivery and Pickup Dates

  1. Select the Pickup Date and Transportation Window, then click Next.
  2. Enter the Event Date, then click Next.
  3. Choose the Delivery Date, then click Next.

After completing all changes, be sure to resubmit the order so updates sync correctly.

When an Event Cannot Be Edited

If the Modify/Update option is unavailable or the event shows “Read Only,” the order can no longer be edited online.
