An event can be edited online any time up until 2 business days prior to the delivery date. To edit your event, you must be logged into your account. You can edit an event by accessing it in one of two ways:
On the My Account section:
- Click on the vertical ellipsis to open up the menu for the event you want to update
- Click on Modify/Update
On the Upcoming Events section:
If the Modify/Update option is not available / the event reflects "Read Only", the order is no longer editable under your account. Please contact our Customer Care team at 1-844-GO-HIPPO (464-4776) or Live Chat, which is available Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Please have your event number ready.
Once you click on Modify/Update, you will be brought back into the guided checkout process where you can click on any of the tabs at the top of the page to edit the product, dates, address, etc.
Event Overview Tab
- Update the address we are delivering to and picking up from
- Edit the event date and guest arrival time
- Add information regarding site requirements, site accessibility, if there are stairs on site or to note walking distance between the delivery location and the offloading area.
Delivery / Pickup Tab
- Update the delivery date and transportation window
- Update the pickup date and transportation window
- Add delivery and pickup instructions (these notes are only seen by the driver during the delivery and/or pickup)
- Add attachments such as a floor plan (only seen by the delivery team during delivery)
- Update the onsite contact for delivery and pickup
