What is the typical height for cocktail tables, both highboy and lowboy styles?

Written by Michele Ryan

Highboy cocktail tables are typically 42 inches tall and usually are ordered with either a 24-inch, 30-inch, or 36-inch top. These are the taller tables often used at standing events like cocktail hours or receptions. Guests can stand around them comfortably or use them with bar stools.

Lowboy cocktail tables are shorter, standing at 30 inches high, which is the same height as a standard dining table. They also come with 24-inch, 30-inch, and 36-inch tops and are usually used with chairs or in lounge areas for seating, placing drinks, or small plates.

Both options are available to use with round or square table tops. Also, the Cocktail tables are available in a cloth-free style.
