To minimize risks during inclement or windy weather, please follow these recommendations:

• Anchor the umbrella
  • Use ground spikes, paver stones, sand bags on the base
• Stay vigilant
  • Do not leave umbrellas open for extended periods of time unattended as weather conditions can change quickly
  • If the wind is gusty but you aren't sure how strong the gusts actually are, close the umbrella until the wind dies down
